This is one of the oldest homes in Hunterdon County, dating to around 1744. It was lovingly renovated from 2019-2021 to respect and restore its historic features and add some modern conveniences, including being totally off-grid, solar and battery powered. Gaia’s Way Farm is a blend of old and new, historic preservation and sustainability, and farmstead and innovation. You will learn about healthy and environmentally responsible architectural and interior design, construction, historic preservation and adaptive reuse. (Be advised, we have dogs, horses and a barn cat so if you are not an animal person or have allergies, this tour is probably not for you) Our Gallery shows you the existing conditions we inherited and our Blog shows you the updates as they unfolded to the finished product.
